Calling England ‘home’

Mohammed Saif has lived in Britain over 50 years. ‘In truth’ he now calls it home.

‘Before, like I’d been [in Yemen] on holiday you know one year, when coming back was the hard bit. Now when I’ve been there one, two months, I get fed up – yes it’s a nice country, it’s just the people is not good. I don’t know…the country’s better than before. They got motorway, and you got nice you know, nice town and nice village, and this and that. It’s just – that problem, that fight. It’s bad!’
