In April 2011, the Yemeni community held an extra ordinary meeting to elect a new Management Committee. I was given the trust of the community to become the new Chairman of the YCA. I know that there are many difficult challenges to face, but for the sake of the community’s development I just couldn’t walk away. I – and we – as a new Committee are up to those challenges. Bring them on! My main priorities as Chairman are development and education for the benefit of everyone. I hope to be honest and open to all. Amongst our members are many skilled individuals. If we work together we can ease difficulties, and prepare the way for our beloved future generation. It’s a noble goal, and will need many sacrifices. We on the Committee will strive to achieve this.
